I was recently retained by this large international corporation to evaluate and write an opinion on the SEO of a proprietary new framework for their entire 180,000+ page website. Their new "flexitab" architecture included multiple pages opening simultaneously and seamlessly offering exciting advancements in rich, dynamic, user content presented in a JavaScript environment while simultaneously offering search engine robots identical content in a spider and SEO friendly way. I was retained several months later to research and write an opinion letter concerning the effects on link equity transfers and SEO implications of removing an HTML sitemap page.

I have a strong interest in fine woodworking and make very expensive, custom rocking chairs on the margins of my other business interests. This is one of my websites and is #1 or #2 on page 1 on Google under the keyword phrase "custom rocking chairs". I have maintained page one placement for over 10 years against 135,000 competing web pages that use the exact phrase "custom rocking chairs" in either their title, description or both.

This is another one of my rocking chair sites. It is also page 1 and currently (Aug. 15, 2010) #3 under the keyword phrase "custom rocking chairs" also out of 135,000 competing web pages with that exact phrase in either their title, description or both. It is currently #12 under the broader term "rocking chairs" against 1,110,000 competing web pages although my focus was on the narrower phrase "custom rocking chairs" due to the click through rate of over 38% that I experience with visitors who initially typed "custom rocking chairs". This is an excellent click through rate and tells me that the keyword phrase I am optimized for is the correct one.

Isabelle Construction is a simple site I recently designed. It has just emerged from the Google "sandbox" (holding area) where its placement on natural searches was limited for about 4 months. This holding period is something most business owners are not aware of and is a good reason for using an established domain name that has been hosted for at least six months. This site has been optimized for both "general contractor" and "custom home builder" with the geographic limitations of Southeastern, MA, Marion, MA and Mattapoisett, MA and Rochester, MA per the owners instructions. It is currently #3 for both "Custom home builder, Marion, MA" and "Custom Home Builder Rochester, MA" with multiple page 2 placements and climbing rapidly.

Fiberglass Industries is a site that I engineered 4 years ago. I have an ongoing relationship with this company doing SEO for all their pages and also working as webmaster for them. I have achieved the following SEO results for the keyword/s listed below - fiberglass rovings #2, fiberglass roving #7, single end roving #7, assembled roving #4, texturized roving #1, triaxial fiberglass #1,resin injection mat #1, stitch bonded biaxial fiberglass #1, double bias stitch bonded fiberglass #1, triaxial stitch bonded fiberglass #1, quadaxial fiberglass #1, unidirectional fiberglass fabric #1, hybrid stitch bonded fiberglass #1, woven fiberglass fabrics #5, rovcloth woven roving #1, stitched woven fiberglass and mat #1, woven fiberglass chem-bonded to mat #1, fortesil unidirectional and mat #1, twintex availability #1.

Specialty Materials is another one of my industrial clients. I engineered and did the SEO on this large site and have an ongoing relationship with the company as webmaster and also do SEO and add content to the site on a regular basis. This is a very small site sample of a website I a year ago for a woodworker here in Sarasota, FL. He specializes in millwork and desired his SEO be targeted at "millwork Sarasota". Because his was an "aged" domain I was able to get him #1 placement on page 1 with his very first Google indexing. This further illustrates that for any number of specialized industries that have minimal geographic competition that it is possible to achieve excellent placement with even a minimal 3 page site if it is done correctly.

I re-engineered this site last year at the request of the owner who desired to get page one placement under the keyword terms "walnut slabs" and "specialty hardwood lumber". It took about three indexes of tweaking but he is now #5 on page one under "walnut slabs" out of 1,340,000 web pages and #4 on page one under "specialty hardwood lumber" out of 481,000 web pages with these words in their Title and/or Description. Under the phrase "walnut slabs and specialty hardwood lumber" he is #1 and #2 out of 262,000 web pages.

This is a relatively new domain I put up for my management consulting and SEO services. It has just emerged from the Google sandbox and is currently #3 under "SEO consulting Sarasota" (against 108,000 competing pages) and #9 under the search term "seo consultant, Boston". Given the SEO skill level of the people I'm competing against for this term I'm quite pleased to be anywhere on page one given the site age and # of back-links to this new site.
